  23. up  disk  space or cause more Lemmings to die, your hard disks to stop
  24. spinning,  and  un-expected visits from old enemies.  It is definitely
  25. not   guaranteed   to   work,   and   does  not  come  with  completed
  26. documentation.

  28.     You  are  also  asked  NOT  to  re-distribute  this  file as newer
  29. versions are always available here.

  31.     If  you  have received this via the SAN file network, the contents
  32. are  OBSOLETE.   The file has been modified and distributed against my
  33. wishs.   Delete  it from your system, there will be no support for the
  34. modified obsolete versions distributed via SAN.

  36.   If  any of the above bothers you, just delete this version from your
  37. system, and forget that it exists.

  41.     wpl.library and the internal serial port
  42.     ----------------------------------------
  43.     Versions  of wpl.library other than nn.nn.01 make use of 'KPrintF'
  44. debug  statements.  If one is using the internal port (serial.device),
  45. they  *MUST* run SUSHI which re-directs this output to the appropriate
  46. location.   Failure  to  do  so will cause network session failures to
  47. occur!
  48.     The  WB  2.1  Version will NOT give you the full version number of
  49. the library, use instead:  "SEARCH LIBS:wpl.library $VER:"

  51.     Library Versions
  52.     ----------------
  53.     Operation  of  this  product with versions of libraries other than
  54. those  included  (either  older  OR  newer)  may produce unpredictable
  55. results.  In particular, the versions of wpl.library, xpremsi.library,
  56. xprfts.library, xprzedzap.library and xferq.library herein, while they
  57. are completely compatible and will work with other wpl mailers, either
  58. include  bug-fixes  or features not available in other versions.  This
  59. is  true  even if the reported version of libraries from OTHER SOURCES
  60. appear to be more recent.

  62.     Bugs
  63.     ----
  64.     This   product   is   in  constant  development  and  is  archived
  65. automatically  EVERY morning.  In the normal course of development, it
  66. is  possible  that  as  new  features  are added, bugs are introduced.
  67. While  I  strive  to  remove these as quickly as possible, this is not
  68. always  the  case.   In most cases, it will be fixed in the next day's
  69. archive  or  in  the  unarchived  version  of a module.  All .rexx and
  70. .wplrx modules are freqable under the filename and are always current.
  71.     Please,   READ   the  History.Shelter  file  to  note  changes  in
  72. configuration, operation or documentation.

  74.     The ROOF System serves as my development testbed for new features.
  75. When I am satisfied with the operation of these features under ROOF, I
  76. then  add  them  to  the  freely  available Shelter Mailers.  I do not
  77. always  test  them  though, that is YOUR job as a BETA Tester.  Please
  78. note that I am famous for 'unmatched quote' errors :)

  80.     Bug  reports  not  submitted  and  received  on  the  same  day as
  81. generation  of  the  archive, may quite possibly be too late.  This is
  82. especially  true  if  the  bug  occurs  on  startup  or  during normal
  83. sessions.   Bug Fixes, enhancements and announcements for all Roof and
  84. Shelter  products are automatically posted nightly in the ROOF_PROJECT
  85. and  FALCON_CBCS  echos.  These are also prepended to the History file
  86. in  each  archive.   It  is  highly  recommended that all beta testers
  87. receive this echo and read the history file.
  88.     Major announcements are posted in the FIDONET echos:
  89.         FALCON_CBCS, AMY_POINT, AMIGA_SYSOP, WELMAT
  90.     and the AmigaNet echos:
  91.         COMMS_AMY, NETDEV_AMY, SYSOP_AMY

  95.     I  find  it  strange  that  I have to add this, I had thought this
  96. would be obvious:
  97.         BETA TESTERS SHOULD NOT POST BUG REPORTS IN THESE ECHOS.
